Biology - Ecology

Our core discipline is the description of living organisms (i.e. biodiversity) and the understanding of the mechanisms and forces that govern them. Our uniqueness certainly lies in our desire to take a comparative approach to understanding the complexity of living things.

Research Institute for Science Education

The IRES Department's mission is to design and implement multi-disciplinary scientific, teaching and general education courses. To this end, it participates in the design, evaluation and development of the Faculty of Science's training programs. It also participates in the continuing education of teachers in the academy, in collaboration with the École Académique de la Formation Continue. All these missions are carried out in coordination with the management of the Faculty of Science and its other departments.
