New Pedestrian Entrances to the Triolet Campus (December 11, 2017)
Message from the University President: Philippe Augé
(December 8, 2017)
We would like to inform you that the new vehicle access points to the Triolet campus will go intoservice on Monday, December 11, at 7:00 a.m.
The current access route via Place E. Bataillon will be permanently closed to vehicles on Tuesday, December 12, at 9:00 p.m.
For the record, the two new vehicle access points are:
– a “main” entrance/exit facing Rue du Truel (near Building 9 and the copy center) for UM staff and visitors (with a reception desk);
– a “secondary” entrance/exit on Rue Parguel reserved for staff (access via a Multi-Services Card with site access privileges).
The current vehicle exit on Jeanbrau Street (Balard area) will remain in place.
As for pedestrians, access to the campus will still be via Place E. Bataillon for several days after it is closed to vehicles.
A new pedestrian-only entrance leading to Rue du Truel (near Building 7) will then open at a later date, which will be announced shortly.
Please find attached a map showing the locations of these new access points and their impact on traffic flow.
Please accept, Ladies and Gentlemen, the assurance of our highest regard.
Philippe Augé,
, President of the University of Montpellier
Bernard Maurin,
, Executive Vice President for Sustainable Development
