Internships and Work-Study Programs

Completing an internship or a work-study program is an opportunity to explore the corporate world and apply the knowledge gained in your studies in a professional setting.
But the differences are fundamental. A work-study student is subject to the Labor Code through an employment contract and receives a salary.
An intern is subject to the Education Code through an internship agreement and receives a stipend.
