MathC2+ Workshop

University Workshops to Explore Mathematics in a Different Way

MathC2+ certified workshops are intended for motivated students in 4°, 3°, 2nde, and 1ère grades, on a voluntary basis.They are specifically aimed at students who do not have an environment conducive to developing a long-term plan for scientific studies. Participants are selected based on recommendations provided by teachers or school principals.

Objectives:

• To foster the emergence of a new scientific culture,
• Identify and encourage young mathematical talent, particularly in priority education zones,
• To introduce students who are not familiar with scientific careers to the possibility of pursuing such a path (girls, students from social backgrounds where science is not traditionally a career choice, etc.).
• To foster collaboration between the education sector and the research community.
