Building 5 on the Triolet Campus

Construction on the Triolet Campus began in 1962 to house the Montpellier Faculty of Sciences, and the first class was held there in 1964 in Lecture Hall 1 of Building 5.
This building is one of the largest on the UM campus. With 9,000 m² of floor space, it can accommodate up to 2,400 students from the Faculty of Sciences, the IAE, and Polytech. Today, it houses 6 lecture halls with 270 seats each, 21 tutorial and computer labs, and 18 classrooms for the Department of Languages.
