^{Professor Amr Galal El Adawi, President of the Beirut Arab University, signed an agreement on academic mobility and cooperation with the Faculty of Sciences of Montpellier—represented by Professor Adam A. Ali, Acting Director of International Relations, and Mr. Gilles Guévellou, Administrative Director—on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at the BAU campus in Beirut.}

^{The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Professor Ramadan Awad, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences; Dr. Laurent Drapeau of the French National Research Institute for Development (IRD); Ms. Lia Renaud, Academic and Scientific Attaché at the French Embassy; Dr. Carla Khater of the O-Life Environmental Observatory, Dr. Safa Baydoun of the BAU Research Center for Environment and Development (RCED), and Ms. Amani Bsat, Head of BAU’s Office of International Relations, along with Dr. Ghada Khawaja, Associate Dean, and Dr. Mahmoud Khalil, Chair of the Department of Biology, BAU Faculty of Science, and a group of faculty members and guests.}
