Welcome to the Faculty of Sciences

The Science Faculty is one of the largest schools within the University of Montpellier. Every year, 7,000 students register for courses covering all fields related to basic and applied science: mathematics, computer science, mechanical engineering, electronic and electrical engineering, physics, chemistry, geology, biology, and ecology. These courses benefit from the expertise of the UM and SF research laboratories, while also liaising with other French and foreign universities, regional governing bodies, and major French research organizations.
