Everything You Need to Succeed in Chemistry as a Freshman

Béatrice Roy and Jean-Yves Winum, faculty members in the Department of Chemistry at the Faculty of Sciences, are co-authors—along with Stéphane Perrio (faculty member, University of Caen-Normandy)—of the book *Chemistry*, part of the new *Fluoresciences* series published by DUNOD.

This visual chemistry textbook is intended for first-year Plurisciences, PACES, and DUT/BTS students and presents the fundamental principles of chemistry. It bridges the gap between the knowledge acquired in high school and the knowledge students need to master by the end of their first year of university-level science studies.

The book is scheduled to be released in bookstores on June 21, 2017.
