The UFR Council, chaired by Mr. Hoffmann, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences, met on Wednesday, June 6, 2018
The following items were on the agenda:
Vote on the minutes of the UFR Council meeting of May 16
New Assistant Directors
The two new deputy directors were introduced:
–Adam Ali, in charge of in-house resources;
–Jean-Michel Marin, in charge of scientific policy.
Elections for External Board Members
Elections for external members of the Council: Since the council members did not receive the résumés of all the proposed candidates, the election has been postponed until the meeting on July 4.
Vote on a convention
Vote on an agreement: The agreement renewing the partnership with the Committee for Regional Economic Development (Comider) as part of the “Ateliers de la réussite” program was approved.
Pedagogy
– The draft charter for engaged students is being discussed by the advisors, who regret that the recognition of this engagement through the awarding of 2 ECTS credits is unrelated to the student’s degree program. A request will be made to the CAC to revise Article 6.
– The 20 “merit-based mobility” scholarships, awarded to students who have participated in an international exchange program, have been approved.
– A presentation on the tailored program for “yes, if” students was given to the advisors.
