February 7 and 8, 2019: OMICS Days – Future Approaches to Health and the Environment
The goal of the Montpellier Omics Days is to bring together various stakeholders interested in the processing and analysis of sequencing data. The 7th edition of the event will be held on February 7 and 8, 2019, on the Triolet campus of the University of Montpellier. It will focus on genome assembly technologies and their applications in health and the environment.
The scientific program, detailed in the corresponding tab, is organized over two days: Thursday, February 7, devoted to various workshops (an introduction to the Unix environment and Bash, Python, and R from a statistical perspective), and Friday, February 8, dedicated to presentations.
Registration for these events—which is free but required—will open on January 2, 2019!
In addition, a public outreach event open to everyone will be held at the Café de la Gazette in Montpellier to wrap up the event on Friday evening.
