Absence from Exams
In the event of an unexcused absence (ABI), the grade will be 0, regardless of the exam.
In the case of an excused absence (ABJ):
=>To be accepted, the original supporting document must be submitted:
Within eight calendar days prior to the exam for a foreseeable absence: invitation to a competitive exam, test, or competition; medical appointment; scheduled medical procedure;
Within eight calendar days following the missed exam for an absence due to an unforeseen event: death of a close relative; illness.
=> For a final exam, you may request a second chance, if available, by submitting supporting documentation and the form below within 8 calendar days to the head of theTU and the Registrar’s Office.
If a student is absent from the make-up exam or the alternative exam, a score of 0 will be assigned, even if the absence is excused.
