A Chinese TV crew is making a documentary about the 2,000 Chinese students who arrived in France between early 1919 and late 1920. These students were nicknamed "the Chinese student-workers of France". These students included such great names as Zhou Enlai and Deng Xiaoping.

The program will trace the Work-Study movement that took place a hundred years ago in France, and the experience of these Chinese students who went on to considerably influence China's destiny.

The year 2019 marks not only the centenary of this movement, but also the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between France and China. From this point of view, reviewing this century-old movement is not only a mark of respect for history, but also and above all an opportunity for the future.

Thanks to our 2 Fds students Jiayi LIU, L2 CMI BBB student and Jingmeng YANG, L1 math student for their testimonies. We can't wait to see the results!
