For teachers

As the new academic year begins, the digital environments of the Faculty of Science are evolving.
As presented at our meeting on June 13, 2019 here are the elements to take into consideration for your teaching in the computer rooms:

=> It is now necessary to use institutional identifiers (prenom.nom@etu.umontpellier.fr or prenom.nom@umontpellier.fr) to log into rooms (Linux or Windows).
o Activation of student accounts is directly linked to validation of their institutional account from the ENT.
o The comptefds tool enables you to self-diagnose your Linux account.

=> The entire pedagogical infrastructure has been upgraded: data from previous years has been preserved.

=> The SIF website has become the SA.P.I.ENS portal, offering you new functionalities:
o Detailed information on rooms and workstations
o Software lists by room
o List of rooms for a particular software (search for software availability)
o Internal documentation is available. Additional information/documentation on teaching environments is available on Moodle.
Use the Service Center to make any requests (software installation or incident reports) concerning the use of rooms, workstations or IT services managed by DSIN.
