In Occitanie / Pyrénées-Méditerranée, the Science Festival is supported by the Occitanie Region and numerous local authorities. And it is thanks to the region’s scientific and innovation community (universities, research organizations, associations, companies, and more)—which has been actively involved for over 20 years—that the festival comes to life through a variety of engaging, surprising, and amazing activities.

In 2018, 620 events held across 97 municipalities in the region’s 13 departments attracted 73,750 visitors, including 31,300 schoolchildren.

The 2019 event will take place from Saturday, October 5, to Sunday, October 13
