The 8th edition of the MontpellierOmicsDays (MOD) will take place on the Triolet campus of the University of Montpellier on February 6 and 7.
The aim of MODs 2020 is to present the work of various players involved in the processing and analysis of sequencing data, and their applications in understanding evolutionary phenomena.
Organized jointly by students in the "Sciences et Numérique pour la Santé" Master's degree program in Bioinformatics, Knowledge and Data and students in the "Statistics for Life Sciences" Master's degree program, Les Mods will be held over two days: one dedicated to worshops (scripting languages (python, bash, R), databases (SQL), machine learning, alignment, phylogeny) and the other to lectures. A popularization evening will also be organized, open to all.
