The 8th edition of MontpellierOmicsDays (MOD) will take place on the Triolet campus of the University of Montpellier on February 6 and 7.
The goal of MODs 2020 is to present the work of various stakeholders involved in the processing and analysis of sequencing data, as well as their applications in understanding evolutionary phenomena.
Organized jointly by students in the Master’s program in “Science and Digital Technology for Health” (Bioinformatics, Knowledge, and Data track) and students in the Master’s program in “Statistics for the Life Sciences,” Les Mods will take place over two days: one dedicated to workshops (scripting languages (Python, Bash, R), databases (SQL), machine learning, alignment, phylogeny) and another dedicated to lectures. A public outreach evening will also be organized and open to everyone.
