From March 9 to 15, the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Montpellier, through IREM, is celebrating mathematics and looks forward to helping you discover this discipline from a new perspective. Change the way you think about mathematics and join us for this special week dedicated to the theme “Let’s Put Mathematics in the Spotlight”!

 The IREM (Institute for Research on Mathematics Education) will host “Very Maths Trip,” a one-man math show written and performed by Manu Houdart, on the Triolet campus.

This phenomenal show—which will make you fall in love with math all over again—is even for those who think they’re hopeless at it. With boundless energy, Manu Houdart has fun showing us that math is hidden everywhere in our lives, that the Pythagorean theorem can sneak (incognito) into a soccer game, or that Happiness and Love can depend on a simple equation…
