ORIENTATION WEEK L1
From September 1 to 5, the first week of the academic year will be an orientation week for all new first-year students. You will be welcomed at the beginning of the week and given information about the courses and career opportunities available in your chosen field, as well as all the student services available to you on the Triolet campus (SCUIO, BU, DVC, SUAPS, etc.). Each of you will be offered an individual interview with a teacher from your program, then, grouped together for tutorials, you will take part in activities to discover your program. The week will end on Friday with an afternoon at the CSU de la Motte Rouge, where you can try out the many sports offered by the SUAPS or improvisational theater (in French or English) and have a health check-up. Finally, you will receive your student card and you will be ready for classes to resume on September 8.
Throughout the week, student associations will be present on the forecourt of Building 36, and a charity food truck will allow you to sample crêpes made by these associations.
Dates, times, and locations of first-year student orientation meetings
You will find the date, time, and location of your back-to-school meeting in the table below.
On Thursday or Friday, you will receive a message containing this information and specifying, for example, when several slots are indicated (as in PCSI and SVSE), the slot that applies to you.
Please note that for certain courses (LAS and PCAV), there are two meetings at the start of the academic year: the general meeting for the portal (PCSI or SVSE) and a meeting specific to the course. You must attend both meetings.
Your attendance at this back-to-school meeting is mandatory. At this meeting, you will be given your schedule for the week until Friday afternoon.
The first week of the academic year will end with an afternoon of social activities at the Motte-Rouge sports complex (CSU), after which you will receive your student ID card.
