Math Workshops for 2nd Grade and Up: The DESciRE Department at the FdS welcomes students to the campus during school breaks

This workshop is designed to broaden the horizons of girls and students from social backgrounds where science is not traditionally a career choice. It is not intended to reinforce existing skills.

The DESciRE department is hosting 8th and 9th graders from the REP+ network in Montpellier

Objectives:
=> Foster the emergence of a new scientific culture,
=> Identify and encourage young mathematical talent, particularly in priority education zones,
=> Open up the prospect of a scientific career to students who are not familiar with it (girls, students from social backgrounds where science is not traditionally a career choice, etc.).
=> To foster collaboration between the educational community and the research community.
