For the first time in France, McGill University, the University of Montreal, UQAM, Concordia University, Laval University, and the École Polytechnique de Montréal, as well as
All other universities in Quebec will be meeting with French students on Wednesday, December 9, and Thursday, December 10. Never before have all 18 universities in Quebec come together to meet with French applicants.
Since travel is not possible due to the pandemic, the Quebec Ministry of Higher Education (MES), in collaboration with Quebec’s eighteen universities, is organizing a virtual information and admissions fair for all French students who wish to study in Quebec starting in the 2021 academic year.
This virtual event will take place over two days. It will be structured similarly to an in-person student fair. Participants will access a dedicated platform and select the institutions they wish to visit. They will also be able to attend a general information webinar on the Quebec education system and the administrative steps required to study in Quebec, review the materials provided by exhibitors, and interact with them to get details on enrollment procedures and available programs.
The two-day event is intended for prospective students in Quebec as well as educational advisors from across France. Parents and professionals in the fields of information and career guidance are welcome to attend.
Admissions officers from all 18 universities in Quebec, as well as representatives from the Quebec government, will be in attendance. This marks a first in France, as the entire range of Quebec’s university offerings will be represented. 1,500 applicants are expected each day. The vast majority of interviews will take place via chat or virtual video meetings.
Finally, since universities are only present for two information and admissions days, applicants must register well in advance on the website:
