Bioinformatics Learning Lab (BILL) 2021.

For another year, master’s students in the Bionfo (M2 BCD) and Microbiology (M1 IMHE) programs have been collaborating on a research project focused on fish viruses, under the guidance of a top-notch faculty team (Jean-Christophe Avarre, Anna-Sophie Gosselin-Grenet, Marie-Ka Tilak, Emira Cherif, and Anna-Sophie Fiston-Lavier).

After extracting DNA during a molecular biology lab session and performing real-time sequencing using Oxford Nanopore (Minion) technology, they shared their knowledge to analyze the generated data together using bioinformatics tools.
