Psychological support for students
The demand for psychological support has increased since the start of the year. Therefore, to help you through this difficult and unsettling time, the University of Montpellier, in collaboration with the University Hospital and the Occitanie Region, is offering new support options:
=>The teams of psychologists whoalready support many students at the Preventive Medicine Service (SCMPPS) have been expanded and can be reached by phoneat 04 34 43 30 70 orbyemail at mail:scmpps-psychologues@umontpellier.fr.It is important to include your first and last name, your faculty, school, or institute of enrollment in your email, and to provide a phone number where you can be reached.–=> Starting February 1, you will be able toschedule an appointment with a psychiatristat the University Health Center (CSU) by calling04 11 28 19 79. The CSU also offers medical and psychological consultations.–=> On weekends,Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., you canschedule a consultation with alicensed psychologist bycalling04 23 16 34 04. The Campus Life Department, through its Workplace Quality of Life and Student Life services, is available to answer any questions you may have about this program and to address any requests related, for example, to the digital divide or social difficulties, aide-sociale-etu@umontpellier.fr. Online stress management workshops will also be available very soon.
