Science Festival – Call for Proposals (Apply by April 9)

The 30th edition of the Fête de la Science in Occitanie invites the general public and schoolchildren to discover science through activities, encounters, and exciting experiences from October 1 to 11, 2021. For this special “30th anniversary” edition of the Fête de la Science, the national theme will focus on “The Thrill of Discovery.”
In Occitanie, this theme and many others will be explored through hundreds of free events. A rich and engaging virtual program will also be offered to the general public. It’s a chance to meet scientists right from your living room!

This festival is a wonderful opportunity for our faculties, schools, institutes, and laboratories to showcase our expertise in teaching and research, and a timely occasion to engage our students, foster connections, and bridge the gap between science and society. We would therefore like our scientific community to take an active role in sharing knowledge by organizingin-person or digital events: workshops, activities, exhibitions, open houses, tours of laboratories or unique locations, films, videos, live streams…

The call for projects is based on the principle of completing a form specific to your department (see link below) in order to obtain certification and potential funding
