The 30th edition of the Fête de la Science in Occitanie, taking place from October 1 to 11, 2021, invites the general public and schoolchildren to discover science through activities, encounters, and exciting experiences. The COVID-19 pandemic—and the questions it has raised—underscore the importance of this event in bringing scientists and the public together in a friendly environment that fosters dialogue. For this “30th-anniversary” edition of the Fête de la Science, the national theme will center on “The Thrill of Discovery.” In Occitanie, this theme and many others will be explored through hundreds of free activities. A rich and engaging virtual program will also be offered to the general public—a chance to meet scientists right from your living room!
