October 7 to 17, 2022: Fête de la Science => An event on the theme of climate change

Fête de la science 2022: a climate change-themed event

The Fête de la science, a national event that has become a must, takes place this year from October 07 to 17 in mainland France. It's an opportunity for citizens of all ages to discover science and the work of researchers, meet scientists, share knowledge and ask questions about the major issues of our century. The theme of this year's event is climate change.
After a summer that could become the norm in a few years' time, with very high temperatures, a drought causing a shortage of water and giant forest fires, the effects of climate change are being felt more and more in our daily lives. Awareness is high, and many scientific players are mobilizing for this year's Fête de la science.
For the sixth year, the University of Montpellier is coordinating the event throughout the Hérault department. This year's program features over a hundred free events open to all.
