What is the BIA?
This is a certificate issued by the Ministry of National Education that certifies a basic understanding of aviation. The BIA is administered by the General Inspectorate of Engineering Sciences and Technology in coordination with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation and the National Council of Aeronautical and Sports Federations.
This degree has been in existence since 1968; its long and prestigious history attests to its value and significance. It serves as a bridge between passion and reason, knowledge and practice, professionals and amateurs, and the civilian and military sectors. It facilitates admission to aviation schools.
