January 18, 2023 - Conference: Quantum entanglement

Wednesday, January 18 - 3pm
Amphi Dumontet - Campus Triolet

ANAÏS DRÉAU, CNRS RESEARCHER, CHARLES COULOMB LABORATORY
(University of Montpellier & CNRS)

From the debate between Einstein and Bohr, to Alain Aspect's Nobel Prize in 2022, come and explore the strangeness of the quantum world with Anaïs Dréau, CNRS researcher at Montpellier's Charles Coulomb Laboratory.

Why does the phenomenon of quantum entanglement shock our common sense? What experiments have been used to demonstrate it?
Can we use it to develop new applications?
These are just some of the questions that will be addressed during this presentation for the general public on Wednesday, January 18 at 3pm in the Dumontet amphitheater on the Triolet campus of Montpellier University.
