March 12, 2024 - 1st BIO'OCC educational day

The Bio'Occ project is led by the University of Toulouse 3 (UT3), with the University of Montpellier (UM) as a partner.

This project, financed by the French government as part of the France 2030 stimulus plan, aims to attract the "players of tomorrow" and develop training in the field of Biotherapies and Bioproductions, mainly in the Occitanie region.

More specifically, one of the objectives is to respond to the needs of companies, in particular the shortage of technicians and senior technicians. On Tuesday, March 12, 2024, the University of Montpellier will be holding its first pedagogical day on the Triolet campus. The event, which is closed to the public, will bring together training managers and representatives from the Toulouse and Montpellier education authorities, as well as the regional authorities.

After a morning of discussions on current educational initiatives and an afternoon of visits to technical facilities, the event closed with a round table discussion on future initiatives.
