Do Science / CGénial – Academic Finals

These competitions are open to students from all middle schools and high schools in the Montpellier school district.

The aim is to give them a taste for science by involving them in scientific or technological projects that encourage a spirit of discovery and teamwork. To this end, they are supervised by their teachers and an experimental approach is favored.

The academic finals took place at the Faculty of Sciences in Montpellier.

Results

Here are the winners who will represent our academy during the national finals to be held in Paris on May 15 for CGénial and in Nantes on June 7 for Faites de la Science.

=> Winner of Faites de la Science: Lycée Jean-Baptiste Dumas with the project: Assisting referees' decisions in handball

=> CGénial winner: Collège Capouchiné in Nîmes with the project: Biochar: CO2 trap or CO trap?

Congratulations to all the students who presented their projects to the judges. It was a day filled with excitement.

Our future scientists have once again proven that the next generation is ready to take over!
