Information on Workplace Accidents

For a work-related accident to be recognized, the employee must meet the following two conditions: the employee was the victim of an accidental event that occurred in the course of their work, and the accidental event resulted in the sudden onset of an injury.

A commuting accident is an accident that results in an injury to an employee and occurs while the employee is traveling between the following locations: the employee’s residence and place of work, or the employee’s place of work and the dining facility the employee visits during a meal break
