On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, Montpellier Mayor Michael Delafosse, accompanied by University President Philippe Augé, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences Jean-Michel Marin, and Cédric Villani, winner of the 2010 Fields Medal, inaugurated the new Alexander Grothendieck Plaza at the entrance to the University of Montpellier’s Triolet Campus.
