November 20–22: 24th Forum for Young Mathematicians

The IRES is a partner of the 24th Forum for Young Mathematicians, which will be held November 20–22, 2024, in Montpellier, France, on the theme of “Mathematics for the Environment, Agriculture, and Food” at the Triolet Campus—Faculty of Sciences

The Forum for Young Mathematicians is organized as part of the “
” initiative by the “Femmes et Mathématiques” association, in partnership with the CNRS Mission for Women’s Advancement. It is intended for mathematicians who are currently working on their dissertations or who have recently defended their dissertations.

The goal of these meetings is to promote women’s contributions to the
mathematics, increase their visibility within the scientific community, and encourage and support their professional integration so that they can take their rightful place within the mathematical community.

On November 22, a special program is planned to welcome high school students.
