April 2, 2025: Academic Finals of the “Faites de la Science” and “CGénial” Competitions

These contests are open to students at all middle schools and high schools in the Montpellier school district.

The goal is to spark their interest in science by engaging them in scientific or technological projects that foster a spirit of discovery and teamwork. To this end, they are guided by their teachers, and an experimental approach is emphasized.

The academic finals will take place at the Faculty of Sciences in Montpellier

2025 Results

Here are the winners who represented our academy at the national finals, which were held in Paris on May 24, 2025, for CGénial, and in Nantes on June 6, 2025, for Faites de la Science.

=> Winner of the “Faites de la Science” contest – Capouchiné Middle School in Nîmes, with the project: “Our Bioclimatic Greenhouse”

=> Winner of the CGénial contest – Antoine Courrières Middle School in Cuxac Cabardès with the project: “Bathed in Dew”

=> “Favorite Project” Award from “Faites de la Science” – Auguste Loubatières High School for the project: “The Bamboo Table”

=> CGénial “Favorite” Award – Ernest Hemingway High School: Let’s unravel the mysteries of Aztec diamonds all the way to the far reaches of the Arctic Circle

=> Students’ Favorite Award – Antoine Courrières Middle School in Cuxac Cabardès for the project: “Renovating Paradise”

Congratulations to all the students who presented their projects to the judges. It was a day full of excitement.

Our future scientists have once again shown us that the next generation is in good hands!!!
