April 2, 2025: Academic Finals of the Faites de la Science / CGénial Competitions

These contests are open to students at all middle and high schools in the Montpellier school district.

The goal is to spark their interest in science by engaging them in scientific or technological projects that foster a spirit of discovery and teamwork. To this end, they are guided by their teachers, and the program emphasizes a hands-on approach.

The academic finals will be held at the Faculty of Sciences in Montpellier

Here are the winners who represented our academy at the national finals held in Paris on May 24, 2025, for CGénial, and in Nantes on June 6, 2025, for Faites de la Science.

=> Winner of the CGénial contest – Antoine Courrières Middle School in Cuxac Cabardès with the project: "Drenched in Dew"

=> "Faites de la Science " Special Prize – Auguste Loubatières High School for the project: The Bamboo Table

=> CGénial Favorite Award – Ernest Hemingway High School: Unravel the mysteries of Aztec diamonds all the way to the Arctic Circle

=> Student Favorite Award – Antoine Courrières Middle School in Cuxac Cabardès for the project: Renovating Paradise

Congratulations to all the students who presented their projects to the judges. It was a day full of excitement.
