April 2, 2025: Academic finals of the Faites de la Science / CGénial competitions
These competitions are open to students from all collèges and lycées in the Montpellier academy.
The aim is to give them a taste for the sciences, by getting them involved in scientific or technological projects that call for a spirit of discovery and group work. They are supervised by their teachers, and the experimental approach is favored.
The academic finals will be held at the Faculté des Sciences in Montpellier.

2024 results
Here are the winners who represented our academy during the national finals held in Paris on May 15, 2024 for CGénial and in Nantes on June 7, 2024 for Faites de la Science.
=> Faites de la Science winner : Lycée Jean-Baptiste Dumas with the project: Assister les décisions arbitrables au handball (Assisting refereeing decisions in handball)
=> CGénial Winner : Collège Capouchiné de Nîmes with the project: Biochar: a C02 trap or a CO* trap?
Well done to all the students who presented their projects to the juries. An emotional day.
