April 2, 2025: Academic finals of the Faites de la Science / CGénial competitions

These competitions are open to students from all middle schools and high schools in the Montpellier school district.

The aim is to give them a taste for science by involving them in scientific or technological projects that encourage a spirit of discovery and teamwork. To this end, they are supervised by their teachers and an experimental approach is favored.

The academic finals will take place at the Faculty of Sciences in Montpellier.

Here are the winners who represented our academy during the national finals held in Paris on May 24, 2025 for CGénial and in Nantes on June 6, 2025 for Faites de la Science.

=> CGénial Favorite Award – Ernest Hemingway High School: Unraveling the mysteries of Aztec diamonds to the far reaches of the Arctic Circle

=> Student Favorite Award – Antoine Courrières Middle School in Cuxac Cabardès with the project: Renovating Paradise

Congratulations to all the students who presented their projects to the judges. It was a day filled with excitement.
