"Cross-cutting themes: The film industry and artificial intelligence, issues and strategies

With the association of the University of Montpellier, ARTFX and PICS STUDIO, on December 4, 2025 from 4pm to 8pm will take place "Les Transversales : Industrie du cinéma & AI"!

In the Cambacérès amphitheatre (1.0.B) at Montpellier's Faculty of Law and Political Science, a wide range of activities will be on offer to encourage Master's students to meet and collaborate with each other.

Students from IAE, POLYTECH, the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Law and ARTFX will have the opportunity to discover the subject of one or more students' master's thesis or film in random groups, to encourage interaction.

Three personalities will be present:
Laurens Ehrmann, Sara May and Stabine Lamber, to discuss the issues and assess the upheavals, changes and developments linked to AI in the film and audiovisual professions (production and manufacturing of films, series, JVs...).

They will share their vision, feedback and strategic advice on a sector in the throes of change.
