“Cross-cutting Themes: The Film Industry and Artificial Intelligence—Challenges and Strategies”

In partnership with the University of Montpellier, ARTFX, and PICS STUDIO, “Les Transversales: The Film Industry & AI” will take place on December 4, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.!

In the Cambacérès lecture hall (1.0.B) at the Faculty of Law and Political Science in Montpellier, a variety of activities will be offered to master’s students to encourage them to meet one another and foster collaboration among them.

Students from the IAE, POLYTECH, the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Law, and ARTFX will have the opportunity to explore the topic of a master’s thesis, research paper, or film by one or more students in randomly assigned groups, to encourage interaction.

Three industry leaders—
, Laurens Ehrmann, Sara May, and Stabine Lamber—will be on hand to discuss the challenges and assess the upheavals, changes, and developments related to AI in the film and audiovisual industries (production and creation of films, series, video games, etc.).

They will share their vision, insights, and strategic advice on an industry undergoing rapid change.
