L1 ORIENTATION WEEK 2026
ORIENTATION WEEK: AUGUST 31–SEPTEMBER 4
From August 31 to September 4, all new first-year students will be welcomed during an orientation week.
You will be welcomed at the start of the week and provided with information about the courses and opportunities offered by the program you will be joining, as well as all the student services available to you on the Triolet campus (SCUIO, BU, DVC, SUAPS, etc.).
Each of you will be offered an individual meeting with a teacher from your portal, and then, divided into groups, you will participate in activities designed to help you explore that portal.
The week will end on Friday with a half-day at the CSU in La Motte Rouge, where you can try out the many sports offered by SUAPS or participate in improvisational theater (in French or English). This will also be an opportunity to take an anonymous health screening. Finally, you’ll receive your student ID card, and you’ll be ready for classes to resume on September 7.
Throughout the week, student organizations will be set up on the plaza in front of Building 36, and a charity food truck will give you the chance to try the crêpes made by these organizations.

You will find the date, time, and location of your back-to-school meeting in the table below.
On Thursday, August 27, or Friday, August 28, you will receive a message containing this information and specifying, for example, which time slot applies to you when multiple time slots are listed (as in PCSI and SVSE).
Please note that for certain programs (LAS and PCAV), there are two back-to-school meetings: the general portal meeting (PCSI or SVSE) and a meeting specific to the program.
You must attend both meetings.
Your attendance at this back-to-school meeting is mandatory. At that time, you will be given your schedule for the week through Friday afternoon.
The first week of the semester will conclude with a half-day of social and athletic activities at the Motte-Rouge sports complex (CSU), after which you will receive your student ID card. All students are invited to have lunch together on Friday at the sports complex, which will be a great opportunity to get to know one another.

How do you read the rooms?
