Presentation of the HR Department - Management of Teaching Services of the Resources Management Department

Béatrice MARMARA is in charge of the HR - Management of Teaching Services section of the Resource Management Department, which covers the following 2 areas:

This office is responsible for managing and monitoring all elements impacting on teachers' services (time off for research projects, delegations, all types of leave). It is also responsible for managing and monitoring face-to-face and non-face-to-face services via various applications, and for preparing and paying overtime. Finally, it manages the follow-up of all teaching service campaigns (part-time, CRCT, CNRS, etc.).

*professors, lecturers, associate professors, doctoral students, interns,...

This second office is responsible for managing and monitoring the administrative files of temporary teaching staff*, and for managing and monitoring the hours of teaching carried out in conjunction with the UFR's teaching departments, with a view to preparing the various pay slips.

*professionals, private-sector employees, civil servants from other universities, etc.

In addition to these 2 areas, the department also manages grouped tasks: i.e. monitoring individual and global teaching agreements, tracking the financial repayment of various service modulations, and tallying and monitoring payroll disbursements. It also draws up reports on overtime pay for permanent and part-time teaching staff.

On a day-to-day basis, Béatrice manages the 4 full-time HR staff (including a part-time HR Master's apprentice).

Within this department, his role is to coordinate all the agents' assignments, in line with the deadlines and schedules set by HRD.

It is responsible for launching the service verification phases carried out each month via the PROSE application, as well as all the various management stages extended over the academic year, culminating in the control and payment of teaching hours on OSE.

She also manages the follow-up of teaching agreements in conjunction with the CEs concerned, the DRH's Bureau de Gestion des Moyens d'Enseignement, the finance division and the general affairs department, and is responsible for recording the corresponding teaching hours.

It manages the monitoring of service modulations; input into the Ose tool and the monitoring of financial repayments in conjunction with the DRH's Service de gestion des personnels enseignants.

It also sets up reports and indicators at the request of management, notably on the budgetary monitoring of the various overtime payments.

Béatrice works closely with a number of departments within the HRD, such as the BGME for all matters relating to payroll, and more broadly with the Service de gestion des personnels enseignants for all matters relating to teaching and campaign follow-up.

His daily routine may seem to be made up of numbers and tables, but his job is wrapped up in a warm atmosphere of human relations.

His work gives him a privileged relationship in exchanges and contacts with teachers, department heads, teaching secretariats...

That's what he's missing today with remote working. There are fewer face-to-face exchanges and less interaction with his team.

It's a new adaptation that won't dampen his good humor or his precision work.
