Academic Finals Make Science / CGénial

Yesterday, the academic finals of the Faites de la Science and CGénial competitions took place.

After an exciting day for the middle and high school students participating in the competition, the judges selected the winners of the two contests and the three "favorite" prizes:

=> Winner of the academic competition Faites de la Science (Do Science): Lycée Joffre in Montpellier (Hérault) with its innovative project: the ecocottage.

Winner of the CGénial academic competition: Antoine Courrière Middle School in Cuxac-Cabardès (Aude) with its project – DIY: making your own household products, effective and eco-friendly?

=> "Student Favorite" Award: Lycée Jean-Baptiste Dumas in Alès (Gard) with its project – Engineering at the service of mobility.

=> "Favorite" Award from Faites de la Science: Antoine Courrière Middle School in Cuxac-Cabardès (Aude) with its project – Return of airships: a viable and eco-friendly solution?

=> CGénial Favorite Award: Collège Capouchiné in Nîmes (Gard) with its project – Filtering with oysters.

Congratulations to all the students for their enthusiasm and their excellent presentations of projects carried out with dedication and commitment. Congratulations to the middle and high school teachers for initiating these projects and supporting the students in this adventure.

Thank you to the members of the jury for evaluating the eight projects in competition throughout the day.

We are following our two winning teams, who will participate in the national finals at the University of Créteil on June 2, 2023 (Faites de la Science) and at the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget on May 31, 2023 (CGénial).
