Faites de la Science / CGénial Academic Finals

Yesterday saw the academic finals of the Faites de la Science and CGénial competitions.

After a day full of emotion for the students from the academy's middle and high schools taking part in the competition, the juries named the winners of the 2 competitions and the 3 "coup de coeur" prizes:

=> Winner of the Faites de la Science academic competition: Lycée Joffre in Montpellier (Hérault) with its innovative ecocot project

=> Winner of the CGénial academic competition: Collège Antoine Courrière de Cuxac-Cabardès (Aude) with its project - DIY: make your own homemade products, efficiently and ecologically?

=> Student "Coup de Coeur" prize: Lycée Jean-Baptiste Dumas in Alès (Gard) with its project - Engineering for mobility.

=> "Coup de coeur" Faites de la Science award: Antoine Courrière secondary school in Cuxac-Cabardès (Aude) with its project - Is the return of dirigible balloons a viable and ecological solution?

=> Prix coup de coeur CGénial: Collège Capouchiné de Nîmes (Gard) with its project - Filtering with oysters.

Well done to all the students for their cheerfulness and their beautiful presentations of the projects carried out with seriousness and commitment. Well done to the secondary school teachers for initiating these projects and accompanying the students on this adventure.

Thank you to the members of the Jury for evaluating the 8 competing projects throughout the day.

We're following our 2 winning teams, who will take part in the national finals at the University of Créteil on June 2, 2023 (Faites de la Science) and at the Paris Air Show on May 31, 2023 (CGénial).
