"Faites de la Science" / CGénial Academic Finals

Yesterday, the academic finals of the “Faites de la Science” and “CGénial” competitions took place.

After an exciting day for the middle and high school students from the school district who participated in the contest, the judges selected the winners of the two contests and the three “favorite” awards:

=> Winner of the “Faites de la Science” academic competition: Lycée Joffre in Montpellier (Hérault) with its innovative project: the “écocotte”

=> Winner of the CGénial academic contest: Antoine Courrière Middle School in Cuxac-Cabardès (Aude) with its project—DIY: Making Your Own Household Products—Is It Effective and Eco-Friendly?

=> “Student Favorite” Award: Jean-Baptiste Dumas High School in Alès (Gard) for its project—“Engineering for Mobility.”

=> “Favorite” Award from “Faites de la Science”: Antoine Courrière Middle School in Cuxac-Cabardès (Aude) for its project—“The Return of Airships: A Viable and Eco-Friendly Solution?”

=> CGénial's "Favorite Project" Award: The Collège Capouchiné in Nîmes (Gard) for its project—“Filtering with Oysters.”

Congratulations to all the students for their enthusiasm and their excellent presentations of the projects they completed with dedication and commitment. Congratulations to the middle and high school teachers for initiating these projects and supporting the students throughout this adventure.

Thank you to the members of the jury for evaluating the eight projects in the competition throughout the day.

We’re following our two winning teams as they compete in the national finals at the University of Créteil on June 2, 2023 (“Faites de la Science”) and at the Salon du Bourget in Paris on May 31, 2023 (“CGénial”).
