Micro-Certification – Nature-Based Solutions – NBS
March 22–26, 2027

This micro-certification supports local stakeholders in understanding and implementing nature-based solutions (NBS)—approaches that rely on ecosystems to address environmental, social, and climate challenges. Designed for local governments, state agencies, consulting firms, and urban planning professionals, it provides practical tools for designing, analyzing, and evaluating projects that balance regional resilience, biodiversity conservation, and local development.
Through theoretical input, case studies, and field visits, participants will learn to identify the criteria for Nature-Based Solutions (NBS), assess the relevance of their projects, and move from concept to operational implementation. The projects studied cover various territorial scales, from local sites to broader land-use strategies.
Developed in partnership with the Montpellier-based Living Lab LLUNAM, this approximately 30-hour training program is available upon application and selection.
