=> ICAP Master's in Flavors and Perfumes(Activity stand with teachers and students from the program)

An instrument that can produce very high-resolution images of the surface of objects. Many scientific fields, such as materials science, nanotechnology, biology, and others, use this technique to study microstructures in order to better understand certain properties of their samples.
Come and observe matter and discover the microscopic world!

Location: Building 16: Mineral Chemistry Room

There are 4 slots available:
2 slots in the morning: 10:30–11:00 a.m. / 11:00–11:30 a.m. (Registration by email)
2 slots in the afternoon (Registration on March 4 directly at the Chemistry booth)

Click here to register for the morning session
Specify your preferred time slot (10:30 a.m.–11:00 a.m. / 11:00 a.m.–11:30 a.m.)

To show how chemistry is involved in everyday life, particularly through simple and fun culinary experiments...
Show the public and let them try it out for themselves too...

Presentation of high-tech materials with "magical" properties synthesized by students (superconductors, phosphorescent materials, fluorescent ferrofluids, synthetic gemstones)

This animation offers a unique exploration of the world of atoms. Come and discover what lies behind Dmitri Mendeleev's periodic table of elements through the fun and interactive web documentary Atome Hôtel. The importance of atoms in our daily lives will be revealed to you with the help of an illuminated display representing the famous periodic table and housing a multitude of "atomic" objects. The animation will also feature experiments to show the links between atoms and colors.
