Alain Hoffmann appointed new Director of the Faculty of Science

The Board of Directors of the Faculty of Science at the University of Montpellier met on Wednesday, February 22, to elect the Director of the Faculty of Science.

Alain HOFFMANN was elected by a majority: 30 votes out of 35 voters (including 5 blank ballots).

Alain Hoffmann, University Professor, teaches in the EEA Department and conducts his research at the IES.

Currently Deputy Director of the component, he will succeed Adam A. Ali, current Interim Administrator of the FdS following the election of Gilles HALBOUT as President of the COMUE.

Alain HOFFMANN will take up his duties on March 7, 2017.
