Alain Hoffmann new Director of the Faculty of Science

The Board of Directors of the Faculty of Science of the University of Montpellier met on Wednesday February 22 to elect the Director of the Faculty of Science.

Alain HOFFMANN was elected by a majority: 30 votes out of 35 (including 5 blank votes).

Alain Hoffmann, University Professor, teaches in the EEA Department and conducts research at IES.

Currently Deputy Director of the component, he will succeed Adam A. Ali, current Provisional Administrator of the FdS following the election of Gilles HALBOUT, as President of the COMUE.

Alain HOFFMANN will take up his new position on March 7, 2017.
