Alain Hoffmann, the new Dean of the Faculty of Sciences

The Board of Directors of the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Montpellier met on Wednesday, February 22, to elect the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences.

Alain HOFFMANN was elected by a majority of 30 votes out of 35 cast (including 5 blank ballots)

Alain Hoffmann, a university professor, teaches in the EEA Department and conducts his research at the IES.

Currently the Deputy Director of the unit, he will succeed Adam A. Ali, the current Interim Administrator of the FdS, following the election of Gilles HALBOUT as president of the COMUE.

Alain HOFFMANN will take office on March 7, 2017.
