Our students conquer the West: On the road to MIT

The iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machine Competition) is an international synthetic biology competition organized by MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and held annually since 2003. The competition invites teams of students from all over the world to push back the boundaries of biology.synthetic. These teams are multi-disciplinary and work in concert with other fields to produce an innovative product.

340 teams from around the world taking part, including 9 from France and 2from Occitanie(Montpellier and Toulouse)

And this year, Montpellier is taking part in the iGEM experience for the first time.
