Jiyuu Scholarship Award Ceremony – Hugo Sarrade: Relive the event in photos
“Jiyuu” means “Freedom” in Japanese. This scholarship was established in January 2016 at the initiative of Stéphane Sarrade in memory of his son Hugo, a 23-year-old man who was a victim of the attacks that struck France on November 13, 2015.
Worth 5,000 euros, this scholarship supports a student wishing to complete an internship in Japan to enhance their scientific education. It is intended for a student enrolled in a Master’s program in science (in any field) at the Faculty of Sciences or the Polytech School of Engineering.
