The School of Science is hosting the regional finals of the "Faites de la Science" and "C-Génial" science competitions

Both contests are open to middle and high school students in the school district, who will be invited to submit proposals for scientific or technical experiments supervised by teachers.

        

The "Faites de la Sciences" competition aims to help young people develop a scientific mindset, foster their interest in science, and encourage them to pursue scientific fields through a hands-on approach to science and scientific or technological experimentation, all within the fun context of a competition that fosters healthy competition. It also serves as a tool for highlighting teachers’ initiatives, addressing the real need for a closer relationship between universities and secondary schools by building a bridge between these two worlds.

CGénial is also the name of the national science competition for middle and high school students! The result of a partnership between the CGénial Foundation and theMinistry of Education’s “Sciences à l’École” initiative, the CGénial Competition promotes science and technology education in middle and high schools. It allows young people, with the help of their teachers, to present an educational and innovative project in a wide range of disciplines such as physics, chemistry, mathematics, technology, life and earth sciences…
