The Faculty of Science organizes the regional finals of the Faites de la Sciences and C-Génial competitions

Both competitions are aimed at secondary school pupils in the Académie, who will be invited to submit projects involving scientific or technical experiments supervised by teachers.

The aim of the Faites de la Sciences competition is to help young people acquire a scientific culture, develop their taste for science, and encourage them to take up scientific careers through a lively approach to science, scientific or technological experimentation, in the playful context of a competition that stimulates healthy emulation. It's also a tool for promoting teachers' initiatives, and meets a real need for closer relations between universities and secondary schools, by building a bridge between these two worlds.

CGénial is also the name of the national science competition for middle and high school students! The result of a partnership between the CGénial Foundation and the French Ministry of Education's Scienceat School program, the CGénial competition promotes the teaching of science and technology in secondary schools.
