March 15–21: Brain Awareness Week

From March 2 to 25 in Occitanie-Méditerranée, come explore neuroscience and feed your brain—all from the comfort of your own home! For this 23rd edition, Brain Week has adapted to the current health situation and is coming to your home simultaneously across Europe and in more than 120 cities in France.

Why does our brain drive us to destroy the planet? Uses of cannabis? Art and smell: Is smelling the same as feeling? A brain without hunger? Myths and realities about the brain? The psychology of memory: fact or fiction? An interactive investigation into lobotomy? Facial recognition: from humans to the digital world! Etc… These are just some of the topics that will be explored in various formats, with answers provided during numerous events taking place throughout the month of March.

In Occitanie-Méditerranée, the association La Comédie des Neurones coordinates this free event for the general public under the auspices of the Society for Neuroscience, in partnership with the Federation for Brain Research and the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
