EXPERIENCE SCIENCE IN A NEW WAY WITH THE SUD DE SCIENCES FESTIVAL!
This event, dedicated to science films, gives the general public and schoolchildren the opportunity to discover a selection of recent documentaries, complemented by meetings and discussions with scientists and filmmakers.
The “Sud de Sciences” festival is part of the local research landscape, which is rich and diverse, reflecting the 6,000 researchers in Montpellier’s scientific community, with a significant concentration in the fields of agriculture, the environment, and health.
Free and open to the public, this festival explores research topics related to major societal issues. Led by the University of Montpellier, it is organized in collaboration with CIRAD, INRAE, Inserm, IRD, the Montpellier Faculty of Sciences, and the Center for Scientific and Technical Imagination (CIST), with support from ARTE Campus, the City of Montpellier, and the network of media libraries and scientific culture of Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole.
