_{The new framework law for the reform of the French school system has created the Écoles Supérieures du Professorat et de l’Éducation (ESPÉ), which will organize the training of future teachers at the academic level starting in September 2013: The ESPÉ are the result of the combined efforts of the Rectorate and universities to provide initial and continuing training for primary and secondary school teachers and other teaching professions (principal education advisors, librarians, etc.). The five universities in the Montpellier academy are now combining their expertise to provide this training (Masters in Teaching, Education, and Training (MEEF) and preparation for competitive examinations) in partnership with the Rectorate.}
