Cultural Life

UM, CULTURE

The UM Art & Culture Department invites you to experience contemporary art and culture both on campus and beyond.

Artists

Every year, artists are invited to participate in artist-in-residence programs. Immersed in the heart of the campuses, they create site-specific works and invite you to explore their creative process.

Workshops

Electronic music, short films, theater… All year round, and it’s free.

Events

European Heritage Days and the 1% Art Program, Anti-Homophobia Week, Women’s History Month, and more—the department helps organize programs for all of these events.

Tours and shows

Museums, theaters, opera houses… Go behind the scenes and enjoy their performances at discounted rates thanks to the new YOOT program from the CROUS. It replaces the Pass’Culture [https://passculture.crous-montpellier.fr/] and offers new services.

All of UM’s art and culture programming is now available online on a dedicated website.
