Council meeting of October 3, 2018

The Council, chaired by Mr. Alain Hoffmann, Director of the Faculty of Sciences, was held on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, in the Assembly Hall of the Triolet Campus – University of Montpellier.

The following current issues were discussed: - Election to the management of the Earth, Water and Environment Department: Directors: Mr. Yann Leredde and Mr. Hervé Jourde, and Deputy Director Mr. Sylvain Adnet.
The change of name of the Department of Earth, Water and Environment Sciences in Montpellier (DESTEEM) to Earth, Water and Environment was highlighted.

– The assembly approved the letter and the appointment of two new Student Representatives:
* Aude Bretagnole, first-year biology student at the Faculty of Science,
* Teddy Baylet, third-year EEA student at the Faculty of Science and President of the GEARS association.

The minutes ofthe Faculty of Science Council meeting heldon Wednesday, September 5, 2018, were approved by the assembly.

* loan of the exhibition "La Tête et Les Mains" (The Head and the Hands) between:
– the University of Montpellier – Faculty of Sciences – and the Frédéric Mistral Middle School (34 – Pérols),
– the University of Montpellier – Faculty of Sciences – and the Marcelin Albert Middle School (11- Saint Nazaire d'Aude),
– the University of Montpellier – Faculty of Sciences – and Lycée Albert Einstein (30 – Bagnols-sur-Cèze),
* provision of premises between the University of Montpellier – Faculty of Sciences – and Montpellier University Hospital,
andthe addendum to thepartnershipagreement"Ser Pilo Francia pilot program" between the University of Montpellier – Faculty of Sciences – and the Campus France Agency.
