Meeting of October 3, 2018
The Council, chaired by Mr. Alain Hoffmann, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences, met on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, in the Assembly Hall on the Triolet Campus at the University of Montpellier.
The following current issues were discussed: - Election of the leadership of the Department of Earth, Water, and Environment: Directors: Mr. Yann Leredde and Mr. Hervé Jourde; and Deputy Director: Mr. Sylvain Adnet.
It was noted that the Department of Earth, Water, and Environmental Sciences in Montpellier—DESTEEM—has been renamed the Earth, Water, and Environment Department.
– The assembly approved the letter and the appointment of the two new Student Representatives:
* Aude Bretagnole, a first-year biology student in the Faculty of Sciences,
* Teddy Baylet, a third-year environmental engineering student in the Faculty of Sciences and President of the GEARS association.

The Council adopted agreements
The Council adoptedthe followingconventions:

– the University of Montpellier – Faculty of Sciences – and the Mayotte University Center for Training and Research.
* Exhibition loan agreement for “La Tête et Les Mains” between:
– University of Montpellier – Faculty of Sciences – and Frédéric Mistral Middle School (34 – Pérols),
– University of Montpellier – Faculty of Sciences – and Marcelin Albert Middle School (11 – Saint Nazaire d’Aude),
– University of Montpellier – Faculty of Sciences – and Albert Einstein High School (30 – Bagnols-sur-Cèze),
* regarding the provision of facilities between the University of Montpellier – Faculty of Sciences – and the Montpellier University Hospital,
andthe amendment to the“Ser Pilo Francia Pilot Program” partnershipagreementbetween the University of Montpellier – Faculty of Sciences – and Campus France.
