Science Festival – Call for Projects (Apply by April 9)

The 30th edition of the Fête de la Science in Occitanie, taking place from October 1 to 11, 2021, invites the general public and schoolchildren to discover science through activities, encounters, and exciting experiences. For this special “30th anniversary” edition of the Fête de la Science, the national theme will center on “The Thrill of Discovery.”
In Occitanie, this theme and many others will be explored through hundreds of free events. A rich and engaging virtual program will also be offered to the general public—a chance to meet scientists right from your living room!

This celebration is a wonderful opportunity for our faculties, schools, institutes, and laboratories to showcase our expertise in teaching and research, and a timely occasion to engage our students, foster connections, and bridge the gap between science and society. We therefore hope that our scientific community will take an active role in sharing knowledge by organizingin-person or digital events: workshops, activities, exhibitions, open houses, tours of laboratories or unique locations, films, videos, live streams, and more.

The call for projects is based on the principle of filling out a form specific to each department (see link below) in order to obtain certification and potential funding
