French as a Foreign Language

Most courses in the Faculty of Science are taught in French.
Before beginning your studies, it is essential to have a good command of both written and spoken French.

Students in exchange programs will be able to take French courses at the Faculty of Science.

Depending on their grades, students may be awarded 2 to 5 ECTS credits by their home university.

To register, please contact the International Relations Office upon your arrival.

Equivalence of degrees

You would like to have your foreign degree recognized in France so you can continue your studies.

The legal principle of equivalence does not exist in France. You can obtain a certificate of comparability for a degree earned abroad or a certificate of recognition of studies or training completed abroad. This document evaluates the submitted degree in relation to the French system and can be presented to an employer, a government agency organizing a competitive exam, or an educational institution.
